Salkehatchie gets a New Name!

McMannen UMC is very excited to announce a new youth camp, "Servants At Work - Durham Summer Service Camp", modeled after the very successful "Salkehatchie Summer Service Camp" of the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.   McMannen UMC has hosted Salkehatchie camps for several summers, and we are committed to continuing this ministry under our new name. The camp steering committee has changed the name of the camp, but not the structure.

"Servants At Work - Durham Summer Service Camp" is an intensive mission work camp for youth and adults to be the hands and feet of God and repair homes for those in need in our community.  "Servants At Work" will need your continued support as planning is now underway for a new camp this summer.  The camp will be hosted on the campus of McMannen June 29-Jul6 6, 2013.
